“What can I do? Be the Change.”

In 2022, the UN has estimated that 345 million people around the world are facing acute food insecurity. That’s almost equivalent to the entire population of the United States, and hunger has only worsened with the advent of the COVID-19 pandemic. When finished, this interactive public sculpture will find its home at PAR-Projects and will serve as a free little food pantry for Northside neighbors.

Dizyre Gordon is a Cincinnati local and Hughes High School freshman.

PAR-Projects‘ mission is to empower diverse communities of people who believe in the arts. Founded in 2010, PAR-Projects has an impressive record of supporting artists and adding value to our community through exhibitions, collaborations, and educational opportunities for artists and non-artists alike. With notable projects throughout the region like our Maker’s Mobile Gallery and significant exhibitions including “Badge of Honor” and “Tunnelitis”, PAR-Projects has established itself as a key player in the Cincinnati arts community.
