Efrat Nehama, is a choreographer, a poet and a Performing artist who lives and works in Jerusalem. Efrat creates in relation with ancient Jewish values, and the idea of renewal Judaism. Efrat is dealing with the tension between contemporary Jewish femininity versus the ancient one, by searching and creating bridges between the dancing body and the written text. Efrat holds a master's degree in choreography from the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance, and a bachelor's degree in dance education from Orot Israel College, Elkana. Her first book of poems Release Poems was published in 2019, and her second book of poems The Boy I Never Had/ The Girl I Was will be published in October 2022 by Pardes Publishing.
