Alisha Babbstein is the Archivist at the Oregon Jewish Museum and Center for Holocaust Education. Babbstein received her graduate degree from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and began her career in academic and local government archive settings before finding her way to OJMCHE where her passion for community archives has been fully realized. Babbstein combines her love of history and the desire to protect it, with her passion for sharing the stories that define and give the Oregon Jewish community a voice. Babbstein’s goal is to ensure that her community’s history is always available, accessible, and valued in Oregon, and beyond.
