System Ali

 System Ali was born In Ajami neighborhood in Jaffa as a result of the struggle for housing rights in the city. Since the band has grown to become a diverse and exceptional cultural engine to community building and social change while persistently developing community and educational activities, especially in South Tel Aviv, Jaffa and Bat-Yam. Alongside the creation of unique and pioneering music, the ensemble performs throughout the country in festivals, street parties, and community events, with special emphasis on performances in mixed cities. The band's bi-national and multi-lingual cultural activity created an organization deeply rooted in the communities in which it operates.

Neta Weiner is an Israeli director, musician, poet and actor. Lead singer and accordionist for the multilingual Jewish-Palestinian Hip-hop ensemble System Ali, and artistic director of Beit System Ali Culture center in the Jessi Cohen neighborhood in Holon. In the last decade, Weiner has created Spoken Word shows and widely acclaimed and award-winning plays which have been produced for festivals and major theaters in Israel and abroad. Weiner has practiced different martial arts for some twenty years and is a licensed teacher of Wing Tsun Kung Fu method.

Stav Marin is an Israeli choreographer and dancer. Stav has participated as a dancer and performer in dozens of dance and theater productions performed in Israel and abroad, and has done collaborative work with a variety of choreographers, dance companies and artists. In the past decade  she has created her own works which explore the physical-verbal connection.
