Lisa Gossels

Lisa Gossels is an Emmy® Award-winning social issue documentarian whose films “The Children of Chabannes” and “My So-Called Enemy” screened at 100 film festivals and garnered twenty awards and honors. Lisa became a documentarian because she believes in the power of film to effect social change. A consultant for filmmakers and film festivals and sought-after speaker and guest educator, she has presented her films 300+ times in academic, religious, cultural and community group settings.

After 25+ years in New York City, Lisa returned to her Boston roots and served as Boston Jewish Film’s Artistic Director for two years, starting in February, 2022. The new future is of her making.
