Dana Sandler

Dana Sandler is a vocalist, composer and educator. She earned her master's degree in jazz performance from New England Conservatory, during which time, she worked with Hankus Netsky and was lead singer for Michael Winograd's klezmer band, Khevre. She founded the Dana Sandler Butterfly Ensemble in 2019, featuring internationally acclaimed jazz artists Carmen Staaf, Jorge Roeder and Austin McMahon, as a response to the rise in antisemitism. Her album, I Never Saw Another Butterfly, released in April, 2020 to rave reviews both nationally and internationally and was awarded "Best Release of 2020" in All About Jazz.
